Safe Families Canada | Lethbridge Region – In a community that has the highest level of child poverty in Alberta, 1800 domestic abuse calls a year, and a high level of incoming new Canadians, the need for wrap-around support for Families in Crisis is desperately needed. The Lethbridge Chapter of Safe Families Canada seeks to step into that early intervention space for families who are experiencing crisis. We want to ensure that families who find themselves in crisis have access to wrap-around support that allows them to continue to care for children, as they find their way through to the other side of crisis and hopefully meet Jesus along the way!Together with our amazing volunteers, we seek to keep kids safe and families together.
